TownePlace Suites by Marriott Asheville West

I walked in and was greeted immediately. Great front desk. Rooms also looked great with newer styled bathrooms and all you could need in the room such as a fridge, coffee pot, closet and even a small kit hen area with a 2 burner stove and sink. I'll absolutely be coming back

We enjoyed a wonderful night's stay here after visiting Smoky Mountain National Park. The front desk staff, Erica, welcomed us warmly at check-in and had great recommendations for nearby dining. Our room was spotless, quiet and well appointed, and the bedding was super comfortable. We'll definitely bookmark this hotel for the next time we're in the area.

Stayed here for a night passing through on our vacation. Picked this place because it was affordable just for a night. The room had a small kitchenette in it. Enough to make food if you were staying longer. The beds were comfortable. The only issue I had with around the bed was an oddly shaped lamp that took up the whole side table, but only on one side of the bed. It was short and blocked all the outlets and had us knocking things over when trying to plug things in. They provide a noise machine which helps drown out the constant interstate noise and sirens you hear. The fire pits were not working but it was below freezing anyways. There was a large lounge area in the lobby. The parking lot was well lit. Parking did get a bit tough the later you arrive because they had a lot of large construction vehicles parked there.

This hotel is such a great location!! 1) The sales contact, Andrew, is phenomenal -- very kind, accommodating, hospitable, willing to go the extra mile - words don't do him justice. 2) The hotel staff serves well together and speaks honorably of each other. 3) Lobby, pool, patio with grill, rooms - they all are clean and well kept, very nice spaces! 4) Full kitchen with two-burner cooktop in the rooms! 5) Good pricing, 6) Convenient location by the highway.

Caitlin and Erica were amazing! The whole hotel is so clean. They really both went the extra mile. Caitlin even opened the breakfast case for us after breakfast had closed to get our friend a yogurt. The staff deserves a raise for how great they are. I highly recommend this hotel and will happily stay again.

My stay at TownePlace Suites Asheville West (June 2025) was fantastic from start to finish. The staff delivered excellent service, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and everything was kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. What impressed me most was the breakfast — it was fresh, well-prepared, and far better than the usual hotel breakfast experience. The overall quality and attention to detail made my stay truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Asheville. A well-deserved 5 stars!

Outstanding Stay – TownePlace Suites Asheville, Bear Creek Rd One of the best Marriott experiences I’ve ever had—and that’s saying something. The hotel is spotless, warm, and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and super comfortable. Free parking is a plus, and the breakfast—while carb-heavy—gets the job done. The cardio setup is solid for a quick workout. But the real star here is Lanel at the front desk. Her friendly smile, professionalism, and genuine care for guests are unmatched. She went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Truly the best front desk agent I’ve encountered at any Marriott property. If you’re heading to Asheville, this is the place to stay.

We recently stayed for 2.5 weeks and rebooked this property for another 2.5 week stay in the spring. It's a newer hotel, nice and clean. Excellent staff all around, especially the manger, Erica. Location is good access to the highway and great for getting to the Enka area for work, or out if town hikes. There are several grocery stores and restaurants within 5-10 minutes with a car. Unfortunately, it's not walkable to anything as there is no sidewalk to cross the bridge so even the farmer's market that is super close can't be reached on foot.The bus stop across the street is literally in the grass on the side of a very busy road and not a safe to wait for the bus. Some 1 bedroom units have ovens!!!! This is hugely helpful for long stays. Although looking out over the parking lot, the fire pit area is very pleasant with comfortable seating, plus the two grills are kept clean and nice and there are 3 tables and chairs there for eating or relaxing. Pool was clean and was a comfortable temperature and the gym has what you need
